April 2025 - The SCA Expo in Houston Texas

In April 2025, Rick Davis our AMR USA Distributor invites AMR Team Members, Julian and Andie Platt to attend the SCA Expo held in Houston Texas. Without hesitation we jumped at this amazing opportunity to once again showcase our AMR Roaster on the International Stage and secondly get to meet members of the AMR USA Team as well as many AMR USA clients in person.

What an amazing two weeks, first in Austin and then in Houston Texas with the highlight being the AMR 6Kg Roaster standing its ground at the SCA Expo.

Rick was an amazing host, we got to meet a lot of people including his Team, Kristi Runge, in charge of AMR USA’s Marketing Department as well as James Christy, who works on Logistics and Shipping, we also met with many of the AMR USA Clients, did some Roastery visits, where we tasted great AMR roasted coffee and then the tastes of the amazing Texan cuisine, and many, many Mexican Martinis, of which now I’m totally hooked, thanks to Rick.

What a great trip, where AMR hit centre stage, has been officially launched and is now a recognised Brand and a force to be reckoned with in the World of Coffee Roasting.
