Some moments in business feel bigger than simply installing a machine or completing a project. For Air-Motion Roasters, the launch of Roasted, Café Kreme’s exciting new coffee venture, was one of those moments.
We were incredibly proud to be part of the launch event and, more importantly, to have played a role in bringing this new chapter of the Café Kreme story to life.
At the heart of Roasted’s new operation are two Air-Motion 12kg Roasters, both installed, commissioned and now fully operational. These machines will be responsible for roasting the coffee that will help define Roasted as it grows, providing the team with the capacity, control and consistency needed to take its coffee offering to the next level.
For us at Air-Motion Roasters, seeing our machines come to life in a new business is always exciting. Seeing them become part of a brand with such ambition makes the experience even more rewarding.
The Vision Behind Roasted:
At the heart of this exciting new venture is Nicholas Harris, founder of Roasted. His vision and ambition have been instrumental in bringing the brand to life and establishing a dedicated roasting operation for Café Kreme.
The investment in two Air-Motion 12kg Roasters represents an important part of that vision, giving Roasted greater control over its coffee journey while allowing the business to develop its own identity as a roasting brand.
It has been a privilege for the Air-Motion team to work alongside Nicholas and the wider Café Kreme team and to watch their vision evolve from an idea into a fully operational roasting business.

A Launch Worth Celebrating:
The launch event brought together an exciting mix of people from business, sport, coffee and the wider Café Kreme community.
One of the highlights for the Air-Motion team was having the opportunity to meet some familiar names from South African sport, including John Smit, former Springbok captain, Rassie van der Dussen, former South African International Cricketer, Willie le Roux, Springbok and South African rugby player, and Dylan Smith, South African rugby prop and former Lions player.
Their presence added to an already memorable occasion and reflected the enthusiasm surrounding the launch of Roasted.
For Air-Motion Roasters, it was also a fantastic opportunity to celebrate alongside the people behind the brand and everyone who has helped make this new venture possible.

Proud to Be Part of the Journey:
At Air-Motion Roasters, we are proud that our machines are now at the heart of Roasted’s new roasting operation.
This project is a great example of what makes working with ambitious businesses so rewarding: seeing an idea become a reality and knowing that our technology will play a role in supporting its growth.
We are incredibly proud to welcome Café Kreme and Roasted to the growing Air-Motion community, and we look forward to seeing what the future holds for this exciting new roasting brand.
Congratulations to Nicholas Harris and the entire Café Kreme and Roasted team on an incredible launch.
We are proud to be part of the journey and excited to see what comes next.
